Living true to her name in Javanese—Rifti stands for life and death and Gita as the rhythm and prose of one’s heart—she dedicates her purpose to using visual communication as a way to express feelings. Her practice lies in breaking the grids, rules, and boundaries of graphic design as a means to decolonize design principle and experiment with radical, deconstructed views of design.
